Check-List

Orientation and move in are both whirlwind experiences. You will be taking care of a great deal of business when you arrive and will be getting a lot of information. Taking a few minutes before you arrive to complete a few things will help this process go much more smoothly. Here are a few things you need to make sure you have done before you arrive on campus:

• Send final high school transcript to Admissions Office. This needs to include your graduation date.
• All Financial Aid paperwork needs to be completed. Not sure if you finished…call the Financial Aid Office and double check.
• Make sure you have completed your housing contract and returned it to the Residence Life Office. This contract will be sent to you with your room assignment and roommate information during the summer.
• Schedule your immunizations. Health History forms, which include an immunization record, should be returned to the Dean of Students Office prior to arriving.
• Health Insurance: A copy of your insurance card needs to be mailed with your Health History Form. If you do not mail this, please have your insurance card with you the day that you arrive to check-in on campus. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE PROOF OF HEALTH INSURANCE.
• Prior to arriving to campus you will receive information about your AU email, Blackboard, and IQ Web account. This information will contain instructions on how to complete the math assessment before Orientation. Please make sure that you have gone onto Blackboard and completed this assessment.
