The articles you find may include statistics. If you need specific pieces of data or data sets to support your findings, statistical databases are available.
Statistical Tables

Lexis Nexis Statistical Universe covers demographics, social, political and economic issues, with state, national and international statistics. Enter keywords representing your topic and population.

Public Opinion Surveys

Polling the Nations is a compilation of more than 14,000 surveys conducted by over 1000 polling organizations in the United States and 100 other countries from 1986 to the present. You can search by keyword, or browse a list of topics.

Government Web Sites

Governmental and organizational web sites are other good sources of statistical information. Look for links to statistics, research, or publications. Examples are:
