Begin your search for books and media in the Averett Library Catalog.

Tip: To read electronic books, Averett students, faculty, and staff must first create a personal account with netLibrary.

To expand your research beyond Averett collections, search Worldcat, a comprehensive catalog of books, media, and Internet resources selected by libraries around the globe. It includes the option to limit search results to Internet sources.

Tip: Averett students, faculty and staff may request Interlibrary Loan of any book not held by the Averett Library.

Project Gutenberg has digitally transcribed thousands of classics now in the public domain, including works of Shakespeare, Dante, Poe, and some early 20th century authors, into electronic books.

The Internet Public Library has digitized over 18,000 books. It offers a comprehensive guide to electronic books and other digital resources.
