Student Center A Place to Gather Averett's new 35,000 square-foot student center is open for the start of the 2006-2007 academic year. The building and outdoor areas are a beautiful addition to the center of campus. Highlights of the building include a café, multi-purpose room with stage, an outdoor deck, a computer center, dining room and lots of space for students to talk and relax. Also new this year is an upgraded food service. Bon Appetit is Averett's new food service provider. In response to student requests, Averett will offer a more upscale food menu including international faire, grilled selections, vegetarian meals and traditional comfort food. There will be extended hours for dining hall service in the main dining room and in the new Jut's Café. |
