New students
You can complete your 2006-2007 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) any time after January 1, 2006 either online or by mailing a FAFSA application to the federal processor. You should complete the application process early to ensure a financial aid award is done before you need to make a decision about attending Averett. Click here to begin the FAFSA process. Returning Students
Applying for Financial Aid 2006-2007 Alert: The Department of Education is making several major changes to the renewal application process for the 2006-2007 cycle. The biggest change is that all renewal-eligible applicants will now use the web to reapply for aid because paper Renewal FAFSA's will no longer be printed and mailed. All renewal-eligible applicants can access Renewal FAFSA's on the Web using their (PIN) Personal Identification Number) to complete, sign, and submit a 2006-2007 Renewal FAFSA online. Click here to begin the Renewal FAFSA process. Students should encourage at least one parent to get a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov, so they can sign the FAFSA online.
