The Career Service Center will also assist you with updating resumes, developing cover letters, and assisting with individual job
Averett Alumni Association
The Averett University Alumni Association was founded in 1908 to foster
among graduates a spirit of loyalty, service and support for each other and
for Averett. The Alumni Association hosts annual social gatherings, keeps
alumni/ae informed through newsletters and other publications and offers
activities and services of interest to Averett graduates. Membership in the
Alumni Association is the best way to stay connected to your classmates and
to Averett.
Career Mentor Series
Throughout the year we invite alumni, employers, parents and friends to discuss their chosen career fields with students. Share information on your career field and offer inside tips on how to research, identify and effectively secure both internships and PT/FT opportunities. There are several ways to join in the exciting process of mentoring:
