Office of Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts is the centralized billing and collection point for student accounts. The Office of Student Accounts processes payments, credits, refunds and charges. The office interacts daily with students, parents, faculty, staff and administrators in person, by phone, fax, or e-mail. The Office of Student Accounts is ready to assist the student in any way with the student account.

Your Student Account

It is important that the student complete and return the Averett University Student Account Agreement. All of the charges that the student incurs will be billed to the student or the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s) through the student account. By completing the Student Account Agreement (PDF), the student indicates the parent(s)/guardian(s) who will be financially responsible for the charges that the student will incur at Averett University. If a completed form is not received, the student account will be placed on a hold and a block will be put on registration.

In compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (Buckley Act), completion of the Agreement will authorize the University to release information regarding the student account to the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s).

If we do not receive a completed Student Account Agreement, the Office of Student Accounts will not be able to release information to the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s).

Once a Student Account Agreement is completed, it will remain in effect for all periods of enrollment at Averett University but can be revised at anytime by giving notice to the Student Accounts Office.
