Credit Transfer
Course credit is transcripted upon enrollment in a degree program.  Averett's administrative personnel can quickly determine the manner in which credit will be applied. Credit will be accepted at the undergraduate level as applicable. Application of military credit to core curriculum requirements may be limited.

Student Services
Averett University recognizes the importance that counseling and professional assistance has for student success. For students enrolled in the IDEAL Program this is of particular importance. Students are assigned an advisor who helps develop the degree program. This advisor acts as the primary point of contact for the student when dealing with non-academic issues and course enrollment.

Averett University recognizes the importance of education for members of the military.  Our commitment to the military includes providing special programs and services for active and reserve: military members, DOD/state military civilian employees, military and civilian family members and veterans.
