Students may bring their own saddles. A limited number of racks are available in the student tack room.

Students may bring one footlocker with a combination lock. Please do not bring a large trunk. There is not sufficient space to accommodate anything larger than the average footlocker.

All equipment that will not fit in the tack trunk must be kept inside tack room.

It is recommended that students bring a small knapsack, caddy or bucket for grooming equipment.

The Equestrian Studies Department suggests the following for the protection of equipment:

  1. Make a list of all tack and equipment that you will have in the stable and keep your record in your room.
  2. Mark clearly all belongings with your name and/or social security number.
  3. Bring a combination lock for your footlocker.

NOTE: The Equestrian Studies Department will not be responsible for lost or stolen equipment so please mark your belongings and keep your trunk locked.
