Graduates of Averett's Biology Program find success in:

Biology majors can select concentrations in Ecology/Environmental Biology or Biomedical Science. Under the guidance of the faculty, students may choose to design a course of study specifically tailored to their career goals.

Hands-on field study is provided through lab work as well as study trips abroad and summer courses taught by Averett faculty at the Humboldt Field Research Institute in Steuben, Maine.
